Answer» I was FORMATTING a dvd-rw and had to get out of it, there wasn't a way to CANCEL formatting so I ended the task, now my d drive won't open when I press the button. Please TELL me how to FIX this problemInsert a paper CLIP in the hole ......next to the eject button........and open the draw with your hand........the disk may have mis-aligned it self on the lazer or drive needs a clean!When you press the button does it make a sound as if it's trying to open? Try - My computer and then 'right' clicking on the drive and selecting open.
