Answer» Hello
What is a data disk (PLEASE see screenshot) used for, please and how does it differ from my C drive?
Thanks.
High1
[year+ OLD attachment deleted by admin]It's just what you (or someone ELSE) NAMED that drive. You can name it anything you like. C: Drive is your system partition (it's where Windows is installed) and whoever named D: drive "Data" intended for you (or whomever) to keep data files there. Can I save any files there, Allan? Images, movies, Word docs, etc?
High1Sure - you can put ANY files on ANY drive - it's simply a second partition on your hard drive. If the name "data" bothers you, just delete the name in EXPLORER and leave it simply as D:Many thanks for that, Allan. You have been most helpful.
High1Sure, no problem.
