i need to recover data from a hard drive, they are both connected
i try to get into a folder (usename) and it says access denied, iv tried booting the old one alone but the pc would just restart.....iv already tried booting diferently many times and switching from slave to master to cable select...

i heard of a way INVOLVING me adding an ACCOUNT on the old hard drive or soemthing (the old hard drive isnt really old, its just older than the new one )

help.....More information needed.like what?

i try to open a folder in the old hard drive (i try to open eighter admin or my username in the documents and settigns) and an error appears saying access denied (and the drive is not currupt)OS, type of HDD's, data to be recovered, location of data to be recovered, errors given..both XP home edition 2002
they are both internal hard drives?
