I have ASUS Intel Pentium 4 with P4P800-X motherboard. I curently have 2 Spectek DDR DIMMS 256mb each. What I want to do is to buy/add one 1GB DRR DIMM from Hynix. I'm wondering if 3 of them work corectly togather?

dl65 Thank you dl65. I do have that guide it came with the BOOK . In the guide says that Hynix is qualified but it also says that I should install identical DIMMS or with same size. What i want to do is install not identical and probably I should put it in single mode.

Just to make it more clear... I have 4 DIMM slots. Two blue slots and two black slots. Two blue slots are filled with 256mb each (Spectek). What I want to do is to put 1GB Hynix in the third slot. Will it function corectly?chizzle..... Yes ...... leave the 256 sticks in the Blue sockets (A1and B1) and put the new single stick in Black Dimm socket (A2) ...that should do it .
