Solve : Dead Drive Problems.?

Answer»

I know there is software to retrive info off of drives, but I never messed with a dead one.  Is it possible to self FIX it or do I have to send it to maxtor?  There is data I want off the drive. There are CO. that do DATA RECOVERY, Google data recoveryBy the way, sending a drive to a company that does data recovery can cost a lot...like $3000.00.

If the software doesn't work your going to have to ASK yourself how bad do you want the data?
