Solve : Death in the computer family... need a new monitor.?

Answer»

After many years of faithful service, the backlight in my 19" LCD Acer AL1914 has given up the ghost. After several hours of attempts by my monitor-repairing colleague, we've decided there is no saving it. Replacing the light is going to cost me nearly as much as buying a new 22" widescreen so...

I'm looking at a couple models, some from Acer, seeing as I've had no serious problems with their monitors in the PAST. I've also seen some nice LG models around the same price range (about $200) for the 22" ONES. ANYONE know anything about LG monitors? Are they any good?yes sir i m one of the USER of lg.. my lg l226wtq'' steel works fine and i dont eperience any problem for 3years..Yeah, I went ahead and got the LG Flatron W2252TQ. So far I'm quite pleased with it. Using a DVI cable. Fantastic picture quality and bright colors. 3 year warranty. Free 2GB Trek ThumbDrive as well.
