is it possible to defrag my mp3 player? will it damage it or corrupt my music files? when i was defraging my hd's, my mp3 player's analysis looked LIKE it had a lot of fragmented files.

Or just COPY the files to the hard drive, FORMAT the player and then copy it back. It would probably be quicker as well.there is a slim chance you can defrag any MP3 (you cant on i-pods at LEAST) Possile to damage or corrupt files but it is very slimQuote

What he said...ok thanks for the info guys. If you worry about corruption, copy your music to a CD like our great-grand parents used to have LYING about.
