Solve : Deleting Using a wildard xp?

I want a command that will SCAN my systemdrive for documents and delete them WITHOUT prompting me.

I TRIED DEL *.DOC but it does not work.

Please help i have xp sp2check the output of del /?.. there's a QUIET mode (XP)..
