Answer» I have a Dell 1545 Laptop, when I go to power it on, everything starts running and the screen starts to come on but then it doesn't. Other times it POWERS on and RUNS like NORMAL and everything is fine. There is no rhyme or reason to how many times it will work, I don't think Windows is LOADING up properly but believe me I am not computer expert, someone please help, as for, of course my warranty expired six months AGO!More info may bring suggestions. Such as operating system, what if any hardware/software changes (if any) were made coincident to this event. What were you doing at the time this event first occurred? This type of event can be created by many factors. For instance overheating/power supply issues/battery and/or converter issues/etc. When your "screen does not come on" is anything still powered or does the computer completely shut down? Any lights illuminated when the screen goes blank (if that is what it does)? truenorth
