Answer» I searched for the answer but couldn't find someone who had the exact same problem. I have a Dell 5400 and it refuses to start up. What happens is: You press the power button and the power light comes on but you get no beep or anything and the monitor doesn't register that the computer is on. You must restart the computer MANY times before the monitor will come on. Once it finally does come on it will freeze while trying to start windows. You can get to and work in SAFE mode with no PROBLEMS but can't work in windows. Any ideas or is there any information that I might be missing?
