Answer» I whiped a Dell Dimension 8300 ... and re-installed a clean version of XP Pro which was on it originally. I dont have the driver disk, and the ETHERNET driver wont install ... I have done alot of RESEARCH and it seems like alot of other people have this ISSUE ... ...I have went to the DELL site and got that driver, but it doesnt work What was used to reinstall Windows?My windows disk. You need to be more specific. Full version Windows XP CD, or some recovery CD?You need to install the CHIPSET driver first, then the other drivers.
