1.	Solve : Dell Insiprion 1545 not recognizing new SSD?
Answer» Trying to upgrade a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop computer with a new SSD. I used Acronis to copy the hard drive but could only get the drive to BOOT if I stuck in directly into the port. It does not recognize the dive if it is properly INSTALLED in the mounting rack and INSERTED into the slot. The new drive is a PNY Do-It-Yourself 1TB upgrade kit.well...you allready answered...if you put it directly into the slot it works. So, I guess it is the mounting rack? acronis will recognize the drive also if it is in the usb DOCK. TRY that option also.
