Answer» This laptop tries to fire up but then shuts off it has a new power charger but does not show indicator LIGHT when connected. If the battery is completely dead would this CAUSE this problem. If the battery is completely dead would this cause this problem. Possibly. Have you tried running it without the battery in?Many thanks for response. Yes I have tested with battery out does not change condition. When the power charger is connected no warning led is lit also when I hit the power BOTTON all three LEDS light up and fan starts and then no power ? Is it possible battery has some SORT of circuit control built in and if the battery is dead this could be causing problem. Battery is not cheap to buy and I prefer to hold off just in case this does not fix the problem. Regards kturton7 |
