Answer» So I have a Dell INSPIRON from 2004. I have had the same problem before and I went into safe mode and restarted the COMPUTER and it came right back. This time its not working. I'm not sure what CAUSED the problem before, but this time my 25 LB dog ran across the keyboard. When I first turn the computer on I get the Dell screen and then it goes to the windows screen. After that it goes completely black. When I go into safe mode the screen works the entire time. Any help would be very appreciated.
