Answer» Can anyone help me running windows XP on an older comp. installed a Ethernet adapter CARD in one of the PCI slots and when you boot up on the post screen there appears DHCP with spinning cursor and after a minute or so it carries on booting. Have checked the boot up order in BOIS and made sure it is not trying to boot to Network. Can you over COME this I have fitted many cards in LATER comps with no trouble.How old is old...!.....you should use the tcp settings......is it networked...
