My boss at work uses internet though dialup ,he has 2 PHONE lines, if he PLUGS his lappy in one of his phone lines it connects but if he puts it in the other phone line it sounds like a nomal call ringing and keep re-dialing, anyone help me out on this plz ??

[glb]Flame[/glb]Sorry i have edit it nowOn these phone lines... Do ytou have to dial 9 to REACH the outside line? Is that only for one phone line, but the other does not NEED to dial 9? Try playing with the dial-out settings.

[glb]Flame[/glb]Yea the one he can't connect on u need to press 9 to get the outside line , so if i put 9 at the start of the number it should work Yes. If you can set the computer to dial 9 to get out (or sometimes it's 8 ), then it should work... You SHOULD have that FIXED by the way... You should not have once line have to dial out with 9, and one that does not... Change one of them... Call the phone company...
