Answer»

ok i just built my friend a custom gaming computer and from wat all ive read all seems to be compatible so i just wanted to run it by you guys first cuz a 2nd opinion doesnt hurt...now the purpose of this cpu is:
1)play BF2 with maxed out graphics
2)be able to hook the TOWER up to a 40"hdtv lcd screen with as much clarity as possible

so here goes the specs:

tower- withthe tower im gettin the supplied 550w powersupply

tvarmy04...... Looks like that will work ....... but you might want to research the mobo and see if it wants a 20 pin ATX connector or a 24 pin EATX connector . You might also want to consider a higher quality vid card .......

dl65 for the pin CONNECTORS which would i want 20 or 24? and why also why would i need a higher vid card? isnt a 256MB good?tvarmy04.....Quote

I suggested a higher quality card , I didnt suggest that the one you mentioned wouldnt work. If the machine will be used for gaming ....the best card the owner can afford will provide better performance.
