Answer» Hi guys !
I found a pretty funny test on the internet checking éhow many germs are living on your keyboard". Thats pretty... disgusting ^^
It actually seems that an average keyboard is more dirty (CONSIDERING germs) than an average public toilet seat
Here is the test: How many germs are living on your keyboard ?
And here is my result: (be careful...thats digusting ^^)
You have 2,125,423 germs living on your keyboard, that's the equivalent of 215 toilets seats ! I answered everything possible with the "cleanest" answer- EXCEPT for the question about what is used to clean the keyboard, I answered dishwasher for that one. It still said over 1 and a half million. oddly, when I change that answer to "I use cyberclean" it "magically> reduced to 400K.
First, If somebody is never around people, is the only person to ever use the keyboard, washes their hands constantly, works in a "protected" environment, has their office cleaned every single day, I REALLY don't see how there can possibly be more germs then on a toilet seat.
In fact, I question the very fact that "the number of germs on a toilet seat" is taken as an absolute- it's like it's a specific number. It just says "the number of germs on X toilet seats" of course, for those that are unaware, toilet seats can be purchased from most hardware stores, and, I doubt they are heavily used toilet seats while still shrinkwrapped, so their claims are both specious, obviously weighted in their favour, and badly phrased.
For example, this is the result with answer given to the most ideal circumstances, as well as answering that their product is used:
Quote Your keyboard is covered by over 404,460 germs and bacteria !
That's equivalent to the number of germs on 80 toilet seats !
Happily, Cyber Clean® is here to help you !
Cyber Clean® Home&Office is the perfect solution for your keyboard !
Cyber Clean® kills 99.999% of Germs: after using Cyber Clean®, you would only have 4 germs left !
I bolded the critical portion. Now, I answered that I already used this "cyber clean" product (which I imagine is just soapwater thrown in a container*). So I find it weird how their product can improve the situation, since I answered that I do.
In fact, I believe this post itself is spam.

Very Good point. I lol'ed when i saw thatTopic's a year and a half old...
Carry on...I don't understand how the AMOUNT of germs on my keyboard (according to the site) is less, but the equivalent toilet seats is higher...maybe my toilets are cleaner
EDIT: Clarification - less/higher than the OP
