Answer» I have a P-4 PC with CD, FDD & USB ports and Windows XP. I have created two USER accounts viz an Administrative Account (Admin) and a Limited Account (User-1). I want to disable the CD, FDD & USB ports by disabling these (under Hardware-&GT; Device Manager) so that other USERS cannot access them. Some of the softwares like IIS, VB.NET etc. requires administrative privileges for running them. If I give administrative privileges to a Limited Account (User-1), the user may enable these devises. I don't want to happen this. My question is -- How can I disable these devises so that general users cannot enable these disabled devises EVENTHOUGH the general user have administrative privileges to run softwares?http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555324
