For some reason each time I start my computer I keep getting a message that reads"Disk Boot Failure insert SYSTEM disk and press enter." When I insert the disk and press enter it then boots into windows vista. However, I don't want to have to keep doing this and would appreciate it if someone could suggest a fix? I have windows vista 32bit installed on one drive and windows 7 on another drive in the computer. I don't use the windows 7, and I mainly boot into vista if that helps. Thanks!!Try This...I tried to do the easy bdc, but UNFORTUNATELY it didn't WORK. However, I wasn't able to do the last thing it suggested as it said that my boot folder might me locked and needs deleting. It did say I could delete this boot folder using either the live recovery CONSOLE or another method. Can you please explain how I delete this boot folder and also if I run the risk of not been able to boot into vista if it all goes wrong. Thanks!!No...follow the instructions for repairing it from within Vista...I tried the repair using the windows vista disk and it REPORTS that it couldn't find a fault. I am still getting the same message and still have to use the vista disk to boot into windows.
