Solve : disk drive doesnt work?

yea i did need a new cd drive. The funny thing is, I dont know what went wrong with it, cause the LAST thing I did was pop in a DVD, which of COURSE didnt play, and then nothing would play in the drive. Anyhow I got me a new cd drive. I did install the OS to a partition on the HD and then reboot from that and then I cleaned out the partition of the OLD OS.
