Solve : Display Color Calibration?

Answer»

I have a 5 y.o. Asus laptop, which still works really well. I do a lot of graphics and have just bought a EPSON R3000 printer to print my digital paintings. I also have an HP Laser for everyday. My prints from both printers are coming out with a yellowish tinge and after much messing around I think that my laptop screen color is wrong.  I have transferred my present painting onto my new HP NOTEPAD and it looks yellow there too. I cannot find the option to change the screen color anywhere. Being a laptop, there is no 'Menu' button obvious, and I can't find any options in the Control Panel. I am running Vista Home Premium. Thanks. If you have the correct driver and control panel installed for the video chipset, it should have color settings. Again, that depends on the model of the laptop and what video chipset it has, which you didn't provide. The laptop is an Asus Pro55 series.  I'm not sure WHETHER this is what you want, but I have found "Chip type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x95C4)".

I have since downloaded 'Calibrize' and calibrated the gamma. The blue seemed RIGHT out, and I have adjusted it, but I don't think it has MADE a heap of difference. Thanks. From what I found, it has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD3470.

Open the Catalyst Control Center, open the Advanced view.

Desktop Properties -> ColorI've found it, and will have a play. Thanks.
