Answer» Oops - SORRY - didn't even notice that it's a laptop. Yes it is a laptop. and an onboard video. So how do i go about the broblem now you have gotten a good picture of the problem i am having. You can either:
1) Look at the invoice for the laptop if you kept it. It should detail the PARTS including the video chip or
2) Contact the laptop manufacturer (probably your best bet) or
3) CAREFULLY OPEN the laptop and see which video chip it hasso,is the video card removable and replaceable. Or will it require replacing the motherboard entirely. You should probably contact hpThe laptop is nc6000. Please can u give me details on how to lose it. I have tried before but after removing the screws, some parts refused to open when i tried pulling it.I have succeeded in opening the laptop and i found out that the video card is intergrated on the BOARD. So what do i do to solve the problem. Do i have to CHANGE the motherboard. Take it to the shop... Laptops are not designed to be user-serviceable.
