Solve : Do I need a high-end graphics card for gaming??

Answer»

I just bought a new ASUS PC and I want to be able to play games downloaded from Steam. Do I need to install a high-end card like NVIDIA GTX 670 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 like the site recommends or am I actually good to GO with the built-in graphics adapter?Which PC is it and which game is it?

Neither of those are high end graphics solutions, I wouldn't use them for paperweights...

It's an ASUS Expert Center. There are a few games I want to download from Steam that are 3D but they are for playing single player and locally. Here are the SYSTEM requirements for one game:

MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 7
Processor: i5-2550k
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 770
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 1 GB available space

RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 10
Processor: I5-4690k
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 970
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 2 GB available space

The only thing is that it says an Nvidia GTX is required. Would the game still run without one. I only have an interest in playing single player and offline.
Well, you'd need the minimum GPU, a GTX 770 isn't really high end, you can get one now for about $70 USD. The problem you'll have is whether the card will physically fit in the computer case and you will most certainly need a better and bigger PSU

Sorry it TOOK so long to get back to you
