Answer» Cpuz says slot 1 ddr Slot tewo ddr
And has a slot 3 and 4 but they just blank
I assumed they were empty. But when I open desktop I SEE only 2 ram sticks and no empty ram slots NEAR them or anywhere on mobo
Does that mean I only have 2 slots? Or do I have 2 empty slots somewhere and I can't see em
This is a gigabyte board from 2004 So is it possible I only have 2 slots? Thnaksmeh ordered ram!
i got this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145213
and this is my mobo stats
ddr 256mb pc2700 166mhz kingston
says that for slot 1 and 2, and 3 and 4 are empty, but when i open pc, only see 2 slots...
o well did i order the right thing?
looks like ill have 1.25gb ram instead of my dreamed 1.5gb lolIf you see 2 slots...you have 2 slots. If you see 4 slots...you have 4 slots.
Sometimes sites report specs that are not accurate.
PS...we still don't know what board this is...Sorry
this a gigabyte 848P-ICH52 RAM slots... Travel to Crucial.com to see if the RAM you got is compatible,,,it will also tell you the max amount on each slot...

Gigabyte has no listing for this.I found it here...
2 RAM slots...Nice find, Patio. Pic isn't very good, but I see 3 RAM slots. Correct on both counts...bad pic...3 slots...
I sit corrected.
