Solve : Don Not shorten the year 2020.?

Answer»

Example:
You might want to write the date in a short form as:
1/5/20
instead of:
1/5/2020
..which can give rise to a forger expert the chance to post date the thing to another yer.
So 1/5/20 he might change to 1/5/2017 and really mess you up.
Think about it.
The warning came from a local TV station, KCRA in Sacramento.
Only ISSUE I have had thus far with 2020 is buying my dinner before work tonight at SUBWAY and their Credit Card Terminal tells everyone that their cards are expired although it processed the transaction correctly because the card is not expired. So somehow 2020 messed with the expiration date check of the credit card and oddly it still allows the transaction to process. The people there said the problem started on new years day on 1/1/2020DaveLembke,
You think they will fix it before the next instance?

1/5/20
instead of:
1/5/2020

As a Brit, I'll REMEMBER that at the BEGINNING of May. It won't matter too much, anyhow, since our banks refuse cheques ("checks") dated more than 6 months before the day of presentation.
I can't remember the last time I wrote a check. If I dated a cheque '1/1/20', which is an unambiguous US/UK date (there are 12 per year, I think), and someone altered that to e.g. 1/1/2019 (why?) then they would not be able to cash it.
