Answer» Is it advantageous to have (2) dvd/cd in your case? Besides burning with one and maybe playing music in the other, what other applications would warrant having (2) ? I am drawing a blank and need advice. Can you even use both at the same time?Do you have a specific reason for wanting two drives? If not, then save the money this is for the system I am building my son, I have no idea? Would a sixteen yr old want/ need 2 drives? What else could I get him besides the HD/DVD/ in those bays?How about good, old fashioned, reliable, floppy drive. Also, if you have 2 different DISCS with info on them, this makes it easier. Not sure if this will help, but this is how I use my 2 drives.This might sound stupid but; I have like 3 extra large bays on top (empty) with one of the four holding the dvd and my bottom 3 smaller bays have the floppy drive on top / space in middle / and the HD on the bottom. It seems like there should be something else on top in one of those 3 extra bays? I guess I can wait and see if he needs something in there later? Looking to adopt a son you never have to see?This is for my only son, who I basically never do see but once a year. Maybe I can send him a webcam or something. |
