I have a celeron pentium II proccessor, don't laugh, it isn't funny! It's sad  I upgraded the ram to about 150 megs and installed sound blaster audigy. Now that I now a little more, I realized that my bus speed isn't fast enough for the card. The weird thing is that it works sometimes, ALTHOUGH that is becoming LESS and less frequent. Sometimes the sound comes out as being very fast and sounding like  a chipmunk that just did some meth and STUCK it's tail in an electrical outlet . Now I'm having trouble running anything. I uninstalled all the sound blaster programs in hope to reinstall them, but I'm having trouble getting the CD to run.

I'm thinking that I need a new proccesor. If there is another possibility, than I like to hear it! Otherwise, what should I look for in a MOTHER BOARD, where should I look and what should I expect to pay?I'd bet you are using WMP. Look in your sound blaster utilities for Creative Play Center. It disks play OK with that you can use it or install Winamp.
