Answer» I am having issues downgrading my cpu.
Specs: MSI x470 carbon pro 7B78 32gb 2133 RAM RX 590 GPU
I get the BIOS Light of BOOT solid.
I checked the BOOT DRIVE it works (Running it now w/r7x) I reset my CMOS and unplugged the GPU because of the embedded graphic chip on the 5 still BOOT I plugged back in GPU BOOT light Pulled the battery 5 mins Checked the PINS on the 5 and its seating BOOT light Plugged back in the 7 and the COMPUTER fully booted.
I want to downgrade so my plex users can use the ryzen 5 for transcodes (8trans) and I can use EMBY with the GPU since it can only handle one at FULL res.
What could be going on?There is a Bios update for your motherboard to support the Ryzen 5.
