Answer» Well I've read all the PREVIOUS POST about how to place a link to download files. I;ve tried them and one work to an EXTENT. I am able to download the file to my desktop from my the target folder. HOWEVER when I attempt to open the zipped file it brings up an error saying the file is corrupted. The zipped file onyl contains a simple text document. Ultimately I need to download an exe file. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong and how I could solve this. Thanks in advance. Did you also try downloading something else from another SITE? Wondering if its the site you made or your computer. Most likely the site or the file.Well i simply placed the text file inside the folder, I didn't do any special uploading or anything, I dont know I had to??? I also dont have admin rights to the server could this possibily be a problem ? where are you downloading the .zip from? I asumed it was from your own domain. possibly they messed up the file when they uploaded.
