Why? Because I am interested in which people think has a worse effect on you. I have friends who do both (not me), and I am just interested what you all think. What are your reasons for and against. Why or why not? They are best when taken together.Want to know something about Marijuana that your school probably failed to teach you?
It removes your motivation in life. I've seen this happen far too often. People get into the habit of just doing it without thinking, and they get stuck in that state. The drug becomes a safe place to go. You should look at how many people use Marijuana who go to college, complete college with the DEGREE they intended, and what kind of college they went to. Look at how many of them have jobs they enjoy, and how much they end up making.
Also, it is a gateway drug. This, most schools do teach you. You think Marijuana is safe all the sudden, and your brain, a bit dumber at that time, decides: "METH!" all the sudden...
People who become alcoholics end up with motivation problems as well. Also, alcohol is a depressant, meaning, EVENTUALLY, it WILL make you sad after a bit too much. Then you vomit, manage to make a baby, have a 24 hour HEADACHE, finally fall asleep for 17 hours, and wake up RELATIVELY well again. One month later, you receive a letter with DNA test results, and child support payments to make. Not worth getting drunk, in my opinion.

Only for certain personalities I think- just so happens that that personality is more likely to try other drugs anyway, having nothing to do with the fact that they smoked marijuana. Following this same logic one could say that cigarettes is a gateway drug as well and Tea and coffee (or caffeine, basically) is a gateway drug to COCAINE.

about 90%.
Actually, come to think of it I think Alcohol causes a lot more problems then marijuana. Warranted, a lot of people who do marijuana cause problems, but at the same time it's not the drug that makes them douchebags, they are simply that way by nature.
You don't hear about husbands beating their wives when they're stoned, after all.
Without first-hand experience with them you really cannot form anything but a subjective opinion on the subject. Then again I've never smoked marijuana so I really can't be subjective on that; and I really don't drink often if at all so I guess I'm not qualified there either. Oh well. Its still not very healthy, either of them.

That's for sure.
