Solve : dvd burner causing problems?

Answer»

You can also just let it boot normally and use the Pause/Break key to stop the boot process so you can read each screen...pressing the spacebar makes it continue.
This might take a few tries as some items go by rather QUICKLY...
If the drives show up properly in the boot screens you are good to go.I know i am repeating myself and thanks for everyones help, but i think i will just reformat.Yes! The reformat went well! I can hardly believe i did it right. I have the internet on the computer and everything!

Thanks to everyone who helped me out! I really appreciated it.Excellent. Glad to hear you are fixed up...stop by anytime.

And make sure to refer us to your friends...there's a box of Twinkies riding on it ...Well before closing this subject I'd like to ask too. How to test if my DVD drive is at fault?
My drive is LG GSA 4176B 16x Super Multi Speed CD/DVD Rewriter. Most of the burns whether CD/DVD has some bad burned areas when checked by DVD Info tools on the net, I used NERO's Tool too same results, the CD/DVD's are brand new and of different types and brands and also I used different BURNING programs still I get bad burns. Any ideas on how to check ?Quote
