Solve : dvd/cdrom drives?

1.	Solve : dvd/cdrom drives?
Answer» Both ,the dvd& cdrom drives wont open. In device MGR. everything shows good.When i click on eject you can hear the drive trying to open, they will open with a paper clip.Both drives are hooked up to a ide ribbon.[The drives will play also] the jumpers are set correctly.Running windows XP home.I have uninstalled them and upon re boot everything comes back to normal as far as in device mgr.I can UNDERSTAND one drive doing this but both the same time?Stranger things have happened Try disconnecting one of the drives & see what happens, then disconnect the other & reconnect the first one. If that doesn't work then both drive have probably gone sound and will need to be REPLACED. Bummer...
