Answer» Hi There... Recently my CD/DVD drive has been running much slower than usual.. To the point that it won't burn a CD or DVD because it causes the data to skip. It use to run up to 9000kb/s.. now it won't EXCEED 3000kb/s... And whenever it hits 3000k's my motherboard starts BEEPING.. But also, whenever I am using a CD or DVD in my computer, whether it be audio, video, data.. My audio sounds distorted and scrambles.. But only when I'm using a disk... I'm thinking my CD/DVD might be on it's way out... Or somehow my processor can't handle it... Does anyone have any ideas?
