Answer» This is causing me major grief at the moment!!
I have an ACER Aspire 1670 Laptop at the moment. It is fitted with a Pioneer DVD - RW DVR-K14 RA DVD drive.
My problem is this....
When I load a blank DVD-RW disc into the drive in my computer and go to My Computer Screen the DVD drive is shown as EMPTY. When I try to copy files to it I get a box telling me there is a problem copying.
When I load in a DVD Movie, No problems at all and it shows up in My Computer with disc size and everything.
I just dont get whats wrong with it.
Any experts out there can help me please?Well friend, there are some disks which are already bad or not working properly. Do try different disk. I am sure that it will work with some other DISK. Bye... I did try that and the computer is still not playing ball!
Any other suggestions as I am at a complete loss!!!What program do you USE to copy files to dvd disk...... Ive just had some success!!!
When I use my NTI CD/DVD maker software it recognises the disc and ALLOWS me to save to it.
When I try to use Windows to perform the same function it still wont recognise the disc.
What am I doing wrong? Not chosing the correct program to save it.?as wmp does it also?I will try that later thanks!!Ok A quick update to my problem...
Using my NTI DVD software I managed to burn Windows Media Files to a DVD R-W. Some were in a folder and 1 wasnt. When I load my disc in it shows that the disc had nearly 4 gig of data on it but only the file that wasnt in the folder shows up and is accessible.
Any suggestions as to whats wrong??ANYBODY
