Solve : DVD paler problem?

I loaded windows XP on my PC after cleaning the hard drive.  My DVD WOULD not WORK now.  I gues it need some kind of DECODE codes.  Where can I get them for cheap.

There are many FREE DECODERS.

However, you may wish to look into DVD player software such as WinDVD or PowerDVD. Both are often shipped with Nvidia and ATI/RADEON videocards.Thanks very much.  I will try that.
