Answer» i cant get my dvd rw to detect a cd or dvd so unable to record anything have up to date drivers in the system folder it says its thier but says cd controller is their any way of fixing this PLEASE help ooooo...not good. Three things it COULD be...One not compatible with WINDOWS..two IDE...etc not CONNECTED properly...and three the product is bad and you need to return it.When did this happen? Did it just "start" happening one DAY? Did this drive used to work before? [glb]Flame[/glb]this drive worked then one day i i tried to put files on it to back up my computer now it does not work its about 3 months oldTry sending it back to the manufacturer...
