Hi!!
RECENTLY My HDD got full, so I have to write all the stuff on Blank DVD (DVD R).I wrote the DVD using NERO Burning ROM and according to Nero it was written successfully and verified but when I tried to open it my PC is still detecting it empty while on my friend's PC with combo drive the DVD seems to be working fine.
Some help me please??This means the DVD was not finalised and will appear empty...

ISOBUSTER can retrieve and EXTRACT the data to be re-burned...however i don't think it is still Free...
There may be other tools out there as well so wait for some more responses...Well Nero burning ROM verified the DVD R and it's still working in my friend's PC??Verifying and finalising are two different things...
Verifying compares the existing files to what was written to the CD to see if they are identical...
Finalising closes the burn project and makes the data readable on the disc.Does your DVD-RAM drive read other disks OK?WyattSoft
It read most DVDs but does not read some DVDs

P.S My HDD is SATA and DVD-RAM is old type i think it's called IDE
