Answer» My DVD-ROM (actually DVD burner) didn't come with any audio cables to CONNECT to a sound card. It only has a POWER cable and an IDE (or EIDE, I'm not SURE) cable. Will it work WITHOUT the audio cables? I mean, I don't even have a sound card.ShouldThe drive will function but you will be sol on sound. If you don't have a sound card, then there will likely be onboard sound and a place to plug the audio cable into the motherboard. |
