Answer» Greetings, If this is XP have you tried CD-DVD Fix ?--->TryHere Unfortunately, this did not fix this...Quote from: patio on April 13, 2008, 08:53:03 AM When you post in 2 different sections it only complicates matters... I am very sorry, I've edited that post as resolved and focus my Troubleshooting on this post... I have attempted to uninstall and reboot for those "Primary IDE Channel" and "Secondary IDE Channel" but this did not correct them. when I select properties it says that there are not enough resources to use these. As far as MB Drivers I am unable to do that because they are DVD based and the drive will not work...I am attempting to get them from the Gigabyte Website RIGHT now.Okay, a update of sorts I reset bios and up reboot it is asking me something to the effect that my SATA HDD is running in IDE mode gives me a Y/N option and 5 seconds to correct it...I did not do anything now the DVD ROM IS APPEARING AND IS FUNCTIONING NORMAL However, now the computer is rebooting about once every 20 minutes on its own. |
