1.	Solve : DVD-RW CD Drive dead....?
Answer» 2 weeks ago I tried installing some software, which TOOK forever. I noticed that my DISK drive was making strange clicking noises,ect. Today I tried installing something I bought several HOURS ago, it clicks, and starts up and stops several times, and doesnt SHOW up at all. Do I need to buy another drive? how do I fix this. ps. im certain the disk is fine, its brand NEW. I have Virtual Daemon Manager running in the background which has never caused problems, so I ruled that out. The device manager says its working fine. How do I fix this?have u tried using a dvd lens clenerA clicking sound is the sound of a hard drive failure. First get rid of Daemon Tools completely...you can always re-install it. Then DLoad and run the diagnostics from the HDD manuf. site and see if that hard drive is failing... If so back up your data iIMMEDIATELY...you may only get one chance.
