Solve : EISA partitions and windows 7?

Answer»

Hello,
my name is conor and i have a question about partitions. I already have four partitions on my hd, 2 primary partitions, and 2 EISA partitions. These partitions are 10gb and 3gb. I need to create a new partition to install the windows 7 beta but i can only have 4 partitions at a TIME and disk management wont even let me touch the two EISA partitions. My LAPTOP doesn't support dynamic disks so THATS out. partition magic was no use. i need to find out how to remove these EISA partitions. can anyone help me? thanking you in advance, conor.it may be best to just get another disk(external) for your W7...your EISA partitions
are usually system recovery partitions...do you really want to trash them??

Good LuckI was thinkin that myself. Ok. Thanks for your help!EISA partition? does ANYBODY else detect the duplicate definition of the term "EISA" here? Quote from: BC_Programmer on January 16, 2009, 10:59:57 PM
