I just moved and unfortunately the movers packed my Emachine E714 and now the light on the tower turns on and the fans turn on but it just won't boot up. What's up with that?Are you getting any errors on screen or beep CODES?I am getting nothing on the screen, only the check your video connections. It makes one small beep and that's it.
VandeDoes that particular e MACHINE have a viedo card in it? Double check you video cable, make sure it is FITTED well.
In addition, carefully check the connector pins on your VGA cable to your monitor (with POWER off).  These pins can be bent easily when assembling the PC.  As above, if they are okay, replug the cable into your PC and make sure it is firmly seated.

Dellvande......I think that possibly the move has unseated one or more of the components..... I WOULD open up the case and carefully reseat all the cards and the ram .......
Check to be sure the IDE cables are all plugged in good and tight and then make sure any other plugged in cables are plugged in all the way .....( fan connections , front panel connection and the like )

Hopefully thats the issue.
