Answer» My epson 2580 works fine with 35mm negatives. I recently became intrested in scanning 6x6 cm negatives and borrowed a friend's EU-33 attachment. However when I removed the top of my SCANNER and hooked it up(cables are compatible) it didn't work PROPERLY with my scanner. I know the attachment was designed for the 1660 model scanner. Is there any way to adapt my 2580 scanner to accept the attachment? Is this a driver problem or is the cable wired differently for the 2 MODELS? Epson Tech support was not helpful on this issue.Thanks.Are they both USB? I THINK it's a driver issue. Install drivers BEFORE connecting USB devices and always make certain you have the correct drivers installed.
