Solve : Epson Emulation for Star receipt Printer? |

Answer» Hey all, we have a number of Dell T200 RECEIPT printers, which are actually Star Micronics TSP Thermal reciept printers. The POS software we are using does not have an EMULATION for the star printer, further the tech people at the software company recommend EPSON emulation. I have downloaded and printed both the user and the PROGRAMMING manual for the star printer and they do not show how to put the printer in epson emulation mode. The POS software tech people tell me that more than likely the star printer can do epson emulation, but that star probably does not want us to know that. Go FIGURE, anyway, does anyone know how we can put this printer in epson emulation mode.Whoops, left out the model number,, it is a star micronics TSP700. |
