Answer» Didn’t have much luck with resolving partially deleted printer ISSUE. So I backup all my critical files and fdisked my hard drive. I guess God is mad at me, now I can’t install the WindowsXP home edition, I get “file I386\MTKRNLMP.exe COULD not be loaded. The error code 7.”
I realize there are d/loades out there, but it does me no help at this time. Does anybody have SUGGESTION as to what I need to do(other then to hang myself) Thanks, JohnD. There aren't exactly DLoads out there...is this a genuine copy of XP Home ? ?This is not a case of God being mad. It's Uncle Billy again.
Read------>ThisYou may want to try another CD-Rom /writer,or whatever you have. Your optical drive may be failing to read the disk.
Also,In reference to patios post. You may have a bad install disk.
Could you try another one? Perhaps someone has one you could borrow to try that.
Sometimes you can MAKE a copy of your( legal) install disk and the copy will work where the original would not.
If you tried the Microsoft site I recommended, and that didn't help, the above information is all I can think of.
