Answer» I was given an esystems e725 laptop with WINDOWS 7. At startup a continued beeping sound occurs, after repedly HITTING F2 and Enter, the machine finally boots to WIN7. All works fine until restarting. On the advise of esystems, i reformated the hard DRIVE, but to no avail. the warranty period has expired so this was the only advice they would give for free. Can anyone advise as to how to cure this problem? THANKS, BobPlease explain the pattern of the beep. Is it a repeated fast beep, a long beep followed by short beeps, three short beeps, or something?
