Ethernet connection on my sister's PC does not work, she SAYS it blew off, can it be REPLACED? If so, can you HELP me with replacing it? Is there a card to be added or cables to attach? I'm in the dark. If the pc is a DESK top? not knowing the extent of damage you can add a ethernet card into a pci slot if you have a empty one.what do you mean by "it blew off" was there an explosion? a strong gust of wind?THANKS for your help!
As far as "blew up" I don't know what she means. She just told me "I blew it off." I assumed she meant it didn't work for some reason.
Anyway, if I can add an Ethernet card to a PCI slot, I'll just to that. For that I imagine I just need to add the card plus drivers, right? so- have you seen it? is it damaged physically?
