I have Gateway LX 6200-01 AMD Phenom X4 9500 64 bit Quad 4 Processor 2.20 GHZ.
I recently upgrade from windows Vista 64 bit to windows 7 home PREMIUM 64 bit.everything works great except my external BLU Ray Disc Re writer Model #BH20N I believe its Hitachi.It will not play blu ray disc. I have Power DVD 10 Ultra software,no problem playing regular cd and DVD.
Is there someone can help me? I also may add I also have mini external Blu Ray player for Laptop I did not have any problem playing blu ray disc in it on the same computer.

Try another player such as VLC...Free...
Not to be opiniated but PowerDVD apps are junk.Thanks but did not help.
What help me was I removed service pack 2 for x64 base system.I remember that's the last updates I did from Microsoft when my player stop working.
I just finish watching Blu ray disc (AVATAR) now I just have to remember not to install every updates for Windows.
By the way my external Drive Model # BH20N was internal that I removed from my other computer before I sold it.I could not FIT this drive into LX 6200-01 BAY its a bit wide.
