Alright, this is a fairly old problem I've been having on my desktop (currently my laptop is better than my desktop, for gaming online at least). It's gradually GETTING worse, I think, and now it's just... painful to even attempt to play anything online. When I run a game it SEEMS to happen more often, but it's also a lot easier to tell compared to when I'm just surfing. Anyhow - my computer spikes BIG TIME, according to Bloodline Champions I have 155%+ packet loss(is that even possible?) and according to LEAGUE of legends I've spiked beyond 15k ms.

 Also, when I first got these lagg spikes there was a scratchy sound when it happened, and my computer completely froze for half a second, this still happens every now and then, but more often I just get crazy lagg spikes with no warning. When I get the sound lagg it typcically happens a few times, like 2-3 scratches and then just some lagg, typically over ~10 seconds. I have recorded some of this lagg when it was really big time bad, if it would be of any use.

Anyway, I tried getting a new router, and I'm considering a new network card or whatever it's called. I know for sure that it's not my GPU as my old one broke and I got a new one and the problem persisted. Yes, this problem is pretty old, but I've been able to live with it until now
